Friend Photo Frame

What a day yesterday! I was so in the mood to be creative so I spent most of the day fiddling around and came up with a couple of things to share with you.

I received an order on Friday and in was a bunch of rub-ons from Stampin' Up! and, I have to say, I'm in love! They are really amazing to work with and the quality is awesome, especially compared to any other rub-ons I've tried. I highly recommend these to any Stampin' Up! customer. Also within that order I received the Summer Picnic DP and , oh my gosh, I love that too. What can I say, I just love all of Stampin' Up!'s product and wish I could buy IT ALL seriously I'm addicted.

So here is the Photo Frame I created ...

I had these frames that I purchased at a local dollar store for $1 and the quality of them are actually amazing. They are solid wood! I think that I am actually going to do this for a workshop at some time and thinking that I would probably get a pretty good response.

I simply measured, cut and pasted the Summer Picnic DP on the frame. Oh sorry, I painted the sides and back a soft baby blue (which matches very well) with acrylic paint also bought at a local dollar store. Before adding the DP I rubbed on the friend design from the SAB collection, Love & Happiness. The green rub-on goes nicely with the paper. I have these little flower charms that I bought from Michaels a long time ago, you know, part of the stuff that you just have to have but never really end up using. Well, thank goodness I remembered I had them because I thing it adds a nice little touch.

Here is a close up ...

Well that's it all done! I have to say, I really liked the way it turned out and I hope you all enjoy viewing it.

Until next time,
